Look out for indications of mold. If the thing is any environmentally friendly mold, white fuzzy mold, or dim black spots (mildew) around the mushroom, tend not to try to eat it. Don’t get worried if you see blue staining—This is often popular in Psilocybe mushrooms and an indicator that
